Saturday Sep. 10th
Tournament

The Freshman A traveled to Ottawa where they won 1st place in the tournament.

We had three players that had a great day hitting. Hayden Meats had 31 kills, Charlee Lattman had 28 and Emerson Munsey had 15 for the day. We struggled with our serving at times, which has been one of our strengths. This will be a focus as we practice in the upcoming weeks. Our passing was strong and our defense did an awesome job of keeping the ball in play.

The girls played as a team and worked together to overcome their first loss. Playing Washburn Rural in the Championship game was really exciting. They beat us the 1 st game and the girls rallied to come back and beat them in the next two. We had a great tournament and I was very proud of the way the girls played.
