Micky Pegg, owner of All Saints Cigars, hosted the first event for Ash and Anvil’s Grand Opening Thursday, September 8. Pegg said he met Derrick Stockton at a trade show and through social media. “I love the Stockton family,”he said. “They travel in packs. Derrick Stockton, former Gardner Edgerton High School, teacher renovated the former Winters Automotive at 204 E. Park Street into a luxurious cigar lounge. Ash & Anvil celebrated their grand opening Thursday, September 8 with friends and family. Alex Stockton, a co-owner and brother, said he was excited for the turnout. He spent laborious hours removing paint on all sides of each brick, brick by brick. The Stockton family has expansion plans for an outdoor area with bar, stage and a speakeasy. They look forward to planning future events with the space.
