GEHS travels to Lawrence

The Trailblazers Men’s soccer team competed last night. Both the JV & Varsity teams went head to head with the Lawrence High School Lions away at the Lawrence High School Soccer Stadium. The Junior Varsity were downed by the Lions suffering another loss to bring their record to 33. The Junior Varsity team lost the contest 02. It was a disappointing result. The young men worked the entire match. The first half ended 0-2 for Lawrence after a devastating five minutes of poor play that the Lions capitalized upon and scored two goals very quickly. The Trailblazers Junior Varsity played the second half with a stalwart defensive effort and had opportunities to bring themselves back into the match to no avail. The team will rebound from this loss once again. The team will be looking to reassert their style of play in the very next contest and find ways to be successful.
