The Gardner Edgerton Scholars’ Bowl team competed in their first tournament, Tuesday, Oct. 25 in Bonner Springs. They started out in pool play with two pools of nine teams. Three team members are brand new to Scholars’ Bowl this year.

In pool play, the Blazers ran the gamut for an undefeated 8-0 and earned a spot in the first-place match against perennial powerhouse Olathe Northwest High School.

Gardner Edgerton beat Olathe Northwest 70 to 40 to win their first tournament of the year.
